Según la consultora TI Entelgy, los desarrollos full cloud y la observabilidad en la nube están entre las tecnologías más destacadas del próximo año.
En los últimos años las empresas de todos los tamaños han dado el paso definitivo hacia la transformación digital de sus negocios. Lo que comenzó como una necesidad para hacer frente a una situación aparentemente transitoria, se ha convertido en una realidad a largo plazo. Las tecnologías han demostrado aportar importantes beneficios a las empresas en términos de reducción de costes, capacidad de adaptación a los cambios, mejora de los procesos y la eficiencia. Es por esto que, en los próximos años, seguiremos viendo cómo las compañías continúan invirtiendo en tecnologías de digitalización para sus rutinas, procesos y modelos de negocio.
Según un estudio de Gartner, la inversión que se realizará en IT el próximo año superará los 4,6 miles de millones en todo el mundo, es decir, un 5,1% más respecto al ejercicio anterior. En España, según datos de IDC, el gasto tecnológico empresarial alcanzará los 53.500 millones de euros el próximo año, un aumento del 3,4% respecto a este mismo año.
En este sentido, Entelgy señala cuáles son las tecnologías más punteras en las que las empresas deberán poner el foco de su inversión en el próximo año para conseguir mejorar la agilidad y la eficiencia de su compañía:
Una parte importante de la inversión tecnológica de las empresas se destina al desarrollo de las aplicaciones en la nube, concretamente, según IDC, se espera que a finales de 2022 se alcancen una inversión de 2.875 millones de euros en esta tecnología y para 2025 la cifra se elevará hasta los 5.143 millones de euros, un crecimiento anual del 21,9%.

En este terreno los grandes hiperescalers, gracias a su enorme eficiencia, han llevado la virtualización y el modelo de infraestructura de sistemas aún más lejos. La infraestructura ha pasado a ser casi irrelevante, ya que el desarrollo por reutilización de componentes sobre plataformas cloud ha cambiado completamente el modelo, tanto para la refactorización de aplicaciones legacy, como para el desarrollo full cloud de lo nuevo.
Cada vez son más las organizaciones que trasladan el desarrollo de aplicaciones software a la nube y esto da como resultado una mayor complejidad, así como un mayor número de errores inesperados difíciles de investigar y resolver. Las tecnologías de observabilidad permiten conocer qué está sucediendo en las aplicaciones en la nube a través de métricas, registros y seguimiento que analizan en tiempo real. De esta manera no solo se detectan los problemas antes de que ocurran, sino que se consigue identificar las razones y proponer posibles soluciones.
Muchas empresas al comenzar su transformación digital dedican sus esfuerzos simplemente a hacer digitales aquellos procesos que ya existían. Sin embargo, en la mayoría de las ocasiones se trata de procesos ineficientes y qué pueden estar suponiendo un obstáculo para la organización, por lo que la mera digitalización de procesos no consigue generar los beneficios esperados en términos de eficiencia y ahorro de costes.
La minería de procesos o process mining es una tecnología capaz de analizar todas las variantes que forman parte de los procesos de un negocio recopilando toda la información existente para identificar, con todo detalle, cómo se están desarrollando estos procesos, cuáles están resultando ineficientes y qué está suponiendo un obstáculo para la organización. Es una tecnología muy útil, por ejemplo, a la hora de agilizar las tareas de producción automatizada, pues trabaja con Machine learning e Inteligencia artificial para identificar cual es la forma más eficiente de mejorar la ejecución de un proceso.
El enorme proceso de digitalización empresarial genera como consecuencia una gran cantidad de datos disponibles. Estos, siendo correctamente analizados, pueden convertirse en información muy valiosa que la empresa puede utilizar en su beneficio. Con el correcto procesamiento de estos datos podemos conseguir que la compañía funcione mediante operaciones inteligentes, simplificando y optimizando los procesos.
Operaciones Inteligentes son aquellas que utilizan el valor de los estos datos para optimizar la toma de decisiones en tiempo real, la experiencia de cliente y conseguir mejores resultados para el negocio. Se trata de tomar decisiones de negocio en base a información real que podemos recopilar y analizar, dejando menos lugar a la improvisación y a la intuición.
Se trata de tendencias que ya hemos estado viendo durante este 2022, pero que comenzarán a hacerse cada vez más comunes, pues son cada vez más necesarias y estarán cada vez más presentes en 2023. Estamos en un punto en el que el sector de la tecnología quiere llevar la transformación digital un paso más allá, es decir, no sólo implantar tecnologías que digitalicen los negocios, sino aprovechar el potencial y los datos que nos brindan para ser más eficientes, predecir, evitar y solucionar errores, e incluso en los niveles más desarrollados, en la toma de decisiones.
