Un 64% de los españoles reconoce que en los últimos doce meses ha sufrido algún cuadro de ansiedad, fatiga o agotamiento a causa de su situación laboral. ¿Qué acciones relacionadas con la gestión de los RRHH se han cumplido este año 2021 y cuáles no?
A primeros de año y tras meses del estallido de la crisis sanitaria, se comenzaron a promulgar una serie de tendencias en el ámbito de los RRHH. Si bien muchas de ellas se han cumplido, otras tantas lo han hecho con matices y otras muchas, están lejos de lo que se dijo en su momento. ¿Qué tendencias en RRHH se han materializado este 2021? Desde Woffu, startup especializada en la optimización de la gestión del tiempo de los empleados, se analizan cada una de ellas.
En los meses más duros de la pandemia, el teletrabajo fue la «tabla de salvación» para muchas empresas. Después, cuando poco a poco se fue estableciendo la llamada «nueva normalidad», el trabajo en remoto se vislumbró como tendencia que venía para quedarse. Hoy en día, tal y como apuntan los expertos de Woffu, los datos muestran que no es así. Según el Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), el 31,3% de los trabajadores ejercía su labor en algún momento en remoto antes de la pandemia. En los meses del estado de alarma, esa cifra subió al 46,7%. Sin embargo, según el Instituto, en el primer semestre de este año, los profesionales que tenían previsto teletrabajar eran solo un 35,3%. Es decir, solo cuatro puntos por encima de la cifra registrada antes de la pandemia. ¿Por qué no ha calado el teletrabajo? Una de las principales causas es, según Woffu, las trabas que origina para las empresas la Ley del teletrabajo y la necesidad de relacionarse físicamente con los compañeros de trabajo.
Otra de las tendencias de las que se ha hablado mucho a lo largo de este 2021 es el llamado modelo híbrido. Es aquel en el que se combina la presencialidad y el teletrabajo. Se comentó que era un modelo que se iría generalizando y calando en las empresas. Sin embargo, la realidad actual dista mucho de eso. En relación al apartado anterior, se ha visto cómo las compañías han optado por «volver a la oficina» y reunir a sus empleados de forma presencial. «El modelo híbrido que, a priori, parecía el más adecuado porque combina las virtudes del teletrabajo y de estar físicamente en la oficina, no se ha afianzado del todo debido a los problemas que comporta para las empresas gestionar este modelo de trabajo» comentan desde Woffu. Una de las principales dificultades que conlleva es la gestión del horario en esa modalidad. Existen muchas empresas que no se han podido adaptar y, por tanto, les es muy complicado gestionar el horario en esta opción. Por eso, es importante contar con soluciones expertas en la gestión del tiempo.
A primeros de 2021 se comentaba que, puesto que estaba en auge la digitalización de las empresas y el teletrabajo, el onboarding –o conjunto de acciones que acompañan al nuevo empleado en su inmersión en la organización- también sería digital. Se trata de un proceso prioritario ya que los números hablan: más del 40% de los nuevos empleados abandona en el primer mes (Equifax Workforce Solutions). Hacer ese proceso de acompañamiento de manera digital es muy complejo. Se ha visto que la aceleración del proceso de vacunación repercutió en la vuelta a la oficina. Este tipo de procesos se han preferido seguir haciendo de forma presencial. A ello se une el hecho de que son necesarias una serie de herramientas específicas que muchas empresas no disponen.
Tras el estallido de la crisis sanitaria, las empresas se vieron obligadas a pasar de lo presencial a lo digital en poco tiempo. Esto puso al descubierto las debilidades de muchas compañías en materia de digitalización. Por esto, gran parte de ellas se pusieron «manos a la obra» en este ámbito. Formación, selección, onboarding, evaluaciones de desempeño, gestión del tiempo… comenzaron a realizarse de forma digital. Y así lo corroboran los datos, el 53% de las pymes españolas considera que su nivel de digitalización ha mejorado durante la pandemia según el Observatorio sobre Digitalización de GoDaddy 2021. Sin embargo, el 55% de las compañías afirma que todavía utilizan el papel en gran parte de sus procesos.
La pandemia y todas sus consecuencias ha afectado gravemente al estado mental de todas las personas. En el ámbito laboral, la situación es la misma. La tensión provocada por la crisis sanitaria hace que los empleados hayan experimentado problemas de salud mental. Así, un 64% de los españoles reconoce que en los últimos doce meses ha sufrido algún cuadro de ansiedad, fatiga o agotamiento a causa de su situación laboral (Hays). Según datos de Adecco, nueve de cada diez directivos y mandos medios no han sabido gestionar a sus equipos durante la COVID-19, lo que ha provocado una oleada de casos del síndrome del quemado. Así pues, tal y como se señala desde Woffu, si bien tras este impacto de la crisis provocada por la crisis sanitaria, el bienestar emocional de los empleados se convirtió en una máxima, a día de hoy, sigue siendo una asignatura pendiente.
