Microsoft ha anunciado los resultados de su cuarto Índice de Tendencias Laborales -Work Trend Index- que, por primera vez, ha sido elaborado junto a LinkedIn. El informe, en el que la IA tiene un lugar protagonista, recoge las tendencias laborales y de contratación de LinkedIn, el análisis de billones de señales de productividad de Microsoft 365, así como la investigación con clientes de Fortune 500, con el fin de ayudar a los líderes y organizaciones a superar la incertidumbre de la IA.
Aumenta la demanda de IA en el trabajo
Los empleados, que se sienten abrumados y bajo presión, señalan que la IA les ayuda a ahorrar tiempo, fomenta la creatividad y les permite enfocarse en tareas cruciales. Actualmente, el 68% de los trabajadores en España incorpora la Inteligencia Artificial en su rutina laboral, frente al 75% de los empleados en el resto de los países. Aunque el 77% de los líderes en España reconoce que la adopción de la Inteligencia Artificial es vital para mantener la competitividad, el 59% teme que sus empresas carezcan de una visión clara y un plan de implementación, mostrando una preocupación por la dificultad de cuantificar los beneficios de productividad de la IA.
Si bien los líderes están bajo presión para convertir los aumentos de productividad individuales en un impacto organizacional significativo, los empleados no esperan para aprovechar los beneficios de la Inteligencia Artificial: tres de cada cuatro trabajadores en todo el mundo están utilizando la Inteligencia Artificial en el trabajo, además de que el 78% de los usuarios de IA en España está introduciendo sus propias herramientas de IA en el entorno laboral. La oportunidad para cada líder empresarial radica en dirigir este impulso hacia un retorno de inversión tangible.
Para los empleados, la Inteligencia Artificial eleva el listón y rompe el techo de cristal
El informe también recoge cómo la IA comienza a impactar en el mercado laboral. Los datos muestran que hasta un 46% de los empleados considera un cambio de carrera -el máximo histórico desde la Gran Reorganización de 2021-, llegando hasta el 85% en Estados Unidos. Un 55% de los líderes globales dice estar preocupado por no contar con suficiente talento para cubrir los puestos vacantes este año, con los sectores en ciberseguridad, ingeniería y diseño creativo como los más tensionados.
Mientras el 64% de los líderes españoles no contrataría a alguien sin habilidades en IA, frente al 66% de los líderes globales, solo el 39% de los usuarios en todo el mundo ha recibido formación en IA de su empresa. Además, únicamente el 25% de las compañías internacionales espera poder ofrecer dicha formación este año, por lo tanto, los profesionales están adquiriendo habilidades por su cuenta. Desde finales del año pasado, han aumentado globalmente 142 veces los usuarios de LinkedIn que agregan habilidades en Inteligencia Artificial como Copilot y ChatGPT a sus perfiles y ha crecido un 160% en profesionales no técnicos que utilizan cursos de LinkedIn Learning para desarrollar sus aptitudes en IA.
En un mundo donde las menciones de Inteligencia Artificial en las publicaciones de empleo de LinkedIn generan un 17% en el crecimiento de solicitudes a nivel global, el informe recoge dos claras conclusiones: las organizaciones que invierten en capacitar a sus empleados con herramientas y formación en IA no solo atraerán el mejor talento disponible, sino que también los profesionales que adquieran habilidades en esta área tendrán una ventaja competitiva significativa.
La aparición de los usuarios avanzados de IA y lo que revelan sobre el futuro
La investigación identificó cuatro tipos de usuarios de Inteligencia Artificial, desde los escépticos pasando por los novatos y exploradores de IA, hasta llegar a un nuevo tipo de trabajador, los usuarios avanzados o power users, que han transformado fundamentalmente sus jornadas laborales, reimaginando procesos empresariales y ahorrando más de 30 minutos al día.
Los usuarios avanzados de IA en España son un 40% más propensos a buscar indicaciones útiles de sus compañeros de trabajo y exploran un 81% más las formas de utilizar la Inteligencia Artificial, en comparación con los usuarios avanzados a nivel mundial que lo hacen en un 40% y 68% respectivamente.
Además, los usuarios de España conceden mayor importancia a la IA generativa, con un aumento significativo en la probabilidad de escuchar a sus superiores hablar sobre este tema. Están también más abiertos a recibir formación específica sobre Inteligencia Artificial, siendo un 24% más propensos que los usuarios globales, y demuestran una alta integración de la IA en su rutina diaria, con un 82% que comienza el día utilizando IA y un 83% que la emplea para prepararse para el siguiente.

Por su parte, LinkedIn ha puesto a disposición de los profesionales más de 50 cursos de formación profesionales en Inteligencia Artificial de todos los niveles, ya disponibles directamente en la plataforma.
