¿Hacia qué modelo laboral vamos? ¿El modelo híbrido es el óptimo? ¿O tiene sus consecuencias negativas? ¿Cómo gestionarlo? ¿Volvemos a la presencialidad total? En los últimos meses, y tras la puesta en marcha de las sanciones por incumplir la ley del teletrabajo, entre las empresas surgen dudas sobre qué modelo adoptar y las posibles consecuencias que puede acarrear.
Septiembre ha sido un mes de cambios en el plano de la organización del trabajo. Si bien antes del verano eran muchas las empresas que apostaban de un modo generalizado por el teletrabajo, tras las vacaciones de verano, son muchas otras las que han optado por una vuelta a la oficina. ¿Qué claves y consecuencias hay que tener en cuenta al adoptar un modelo u otro? Desde Woffu, startup especializada en la optimización de la gestión del tiempo de los empleados, se analiza cada uno de los posibles modelos de trabajo.
Antes de las vacaciones de este verano de 2021, casi dos millones de empleados trabajaban desde casa la mitad de la semana o más, de acuerdo con el Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE). Sin embargo, este dato se ha reducido significativamente tras el periodo estival. Y es que la puesta en vigor a partir del 1 de octubre de las sanciones por no cumplir la ley del teletrabajo en España, ha tenido mucho que ver. Las multas son de hasta 225.000 euros. La ley del teletrabajo implica una serie de obligaciones que hay que tener en cuenta, tal y como apuntan desde Woffu. Entre esas obligaciones se encuentran: desglosar los gastos y establecer un medio de compensación o abono al empleado, determinar el horario laboral del empleado, así como sus franjas de descanso, concretar en qué medida o porcentaje se teletrabaja y se hace trabajo presencial en la oficina o establecer unos medios técnicos para el control empresarial de la actividad. En cuanto a las sanciones a las que se pueden enfrentar las empresas, la legislación contempla desde sanciones leves, graves o muy graves. En las leves las multas pueden ser de 70 euros mínimo, las graves, como mínimo de 751 euros y las muy graves, como máximo de más de 225.000 euros. En este punto, muchas compañías están limitando el teletrabajo a menos del 30% para evitar los gastos asociados.
Uno de los modelos de trabajo que más adeptos está ganando es el llamado modelo híbrido. Para muchos aúna las virtudes de la presencialidad y las bondades del trabajo en remoto. Por un lado, se gana en flexibilidad y conciliación para los trabajadores, por lo que se cuenta con una plantilla más «feliz» y, por otro lado, se cuenta con el impacto positivo del trabajo presencial, de la interacción personal entre los equipos. Además, se ha demostrado que el modelo híbrido es una buena fórmula para atraer y retener talento, tal y como sostienen desde Woffu. De hecho, según el informe Nuevas formas de trabajar. Reflexiones sobre el futuro, de la consultora Boston Consulting Group (BCG), el 65% de las empresas españolas aspira a alcanzar modelos híbridos. Sin embargo, «no es oro todo lo que reluce» y la opción híbrida trae consigo una serie de consecuencias y trabas a tener en cuenta. Una de ellas es cumplir con la nueva Ley de Trabajo a Distancia. Esto puede comportar una serie de gastos adicionales importantes. Y, por otro lado, está la gestión del control horario en esta modalidad. Es importante asegurarnos que si escogemos el modelo de trabajo híbrido. Muchas herramientas no están adaptadas. Por eso, es importante contar con soluciones expertas en la gestión del tiempo, como Woffu, que se adapta a cada casuística y ofrece a los empleados la posibilidad de fichar desde diferentes dispositivos: ordenador, móvil o sistema biométrico.
De todos es sabido las ventajas de la presencialidad. Es algo de lo que se ha hablado mucho tras la implantación de forma más generalizada en España del teletrabajo. La interacción entre los equipos, la «lluvia de ideas» que siempre surgen mejor en el cara a cara, los lazos entre los empleados, el sentimiento de equipo… son beneficios del trabajo presencial que no pueden darse en la «soledad» del trabajo en remoto. Sin embargo, implantar de un modo general de nuevo la presencialidad puede tener una serie de consecuencias negativas. Por un lado, se encuentra la falta de conciliación. Los equipos se sienten menos motivados en este aspecto y eso influye en su desempeño. Por otro lado, está el que la empresa se hace «menos atractiva» a la hora de atraer y retener el talento, tal y como se comentaba anteriormente. Una empresa en la que, pudiendo hacerse trabajo en remoto, solo permite el modelo presencial, liga su imagen a fórmulas empresariales más tradicionales, más estancas.
