La transformación digital mejora la agilidad en las empresas: permite a las empresas comprender cuándo esperar un cambio y cómo cambiar las prácticas de manera eficiente para adaptarse a ellos.
La transformación digital está de moda, es lo que recomiendan todos los expertos y lo que oímos por todas partes. Pero lo cierto es que este proceso no funciona para la mayoría de las pequeñas y medianas empresas, que siguen siendo la espina dorsal de la economía española, dado que representan más del 99% de nuestro tejido productivo. ¿Qué es lo que está fallando?
“Los empresarios y emprendedores continúan todavía en situación de riesgo y de fracaso en la dirección de sus negocios a través de la pandemia. Las pymes, a pesar de que están viendo la ventaja de utilizar la tecnología para continuar y hacer progresar su negocio, se ven incapaces de poner en marcha todo el proceso por diversos factores: falta de conocimientos, de recursos económicos y humanos e, incluso, miedo”, explica Manuel Gil, gerente de Bluecaribu.
Según datos de un estudio de Market Research, en España 6 de cada 10 pymes reconocen que la transformación digital es fundamental para el éxito empresarial pero no disponen de la inversión económica necesaria (44%), ni de la logística adecuada para entregar el producto a tiempo (31%), además de no poder atender convenientemente las peticiones que les llegan (14%).
En este escenario y dado que el Foro Económico Mundial predice que el valor agregado de las transformaciones digitales en todos los sectores podría superar los 100.000 millones de dólares en 2025, poner en práctica esta estrategia puede ser la clave para la supervivencia de cualquier negocio. “Las transformaciones digitales brindan a los líderes empresariales la oportunidad de dar un paso atrás, descubrir las mejores prácticas para su organización y ayudar a crecer y recuperar sus ingresos”, señalan los expertos de Bluecaribu, que en 2020 crearon ‘Academia Bluecaribu’, una plataforma e-learning que busca capacitar de manera práctica a miles de compañías en marketing, ventas y transformación digital de forma gratuita, y desde donde dan varias claves para lograrlo:
La experiencia del cliente está en el corazón de las buenas prácticas comerciales y, por lo tanto, también está en el centro de la competencia digital. Las empresas líderes de todo el mundo están adoptando la mejora de las experiencias de los clientes a través de la transformación digital. Desde la academia, que cuenta con 17.000 alumnos que han terminado uno o varios cursos, señalan que “las transformaciones digitales no tienen por qué ser complicadas. Algunos ejemplos simples incluyen la integración de una plataforma de comercio electrónico en el sitio web de la marca. Las transformaciones digitales consisten, simplemente, en identificar problemas en nuestro sistema actual y encontrar una mejor manera de responder a las necesidades de los clientes”.
El drástico cambio en la forma de pago, del efectivo a las tarjetas de crédito y débito, se ha visto acentuado por el estímulo a utilizar los pagos electrónicos por motivos de seguridad e higiene tras la pandemia del coronavirus. Los pagos con tarjeta son más aceptados por los españoles que nunca y son esenciales para las empresas en crecimiento. “La tecnología abre el negocio a nuevas oportunidades de ingresos, pero con la transformación se debe tener en cuenta las nuevas regulaciones. Si bien la tecnología avanza, los procesos se vuelven más complejos y pueden volverse más difíciles de controlar y mantener, y las pymes deben estar preparadas”, aseguran desde Academia Bluecaribu.
Se ha convertido en un mantra más que repetido, pero debería seguir siéndolo a pesar de su obviedad: “Los datos valen más que el petróleo”. Conocer a nuestros clientes puede agregar rentabilidad al negocio. Los expertos de Bluecaribu apuntan que “utilizar los datos que hemos recopilado nos sirve para comprender mejor el mercado: quiénes son nuestros clientes, cuándo compran y cómo compran. El seguimiento de las métricas del negocio permite comprender qué estrategias son más efectivas”.

“La innovación tecnológica es un riesgo para las empresas. Las crecientes capacidades de la tecnología hacen que sea difícil predecir los cambios futuros del sector. La transformación digital es, por tanto, la única forma en que una empresa puede prepararse para este futuro de innovación, lo que significa que los desarrollos potenciales pueden integrarse de manera eficiente en sus operaciones comerciales”, señalan desde Academia Bluecaribu.
Como empresa, los clientes reconocerán el intento de brindar el mejor servicio posible a través de la transformación digital. Según diversos estudios, el potencial de ingresos de las empresas digitalizadas también pone la atención en la necesidad de adaptarse a los tiempos que cambian rápidamente. Después de todo, no solo se está cambiando la tecnología, sino también la sociedad.
