Los expertos aconsejan mantener una rutina estable que ayude a separar la jornada laboral de la vida privada.
En marzo del año pasado muchos trabajadores se vieron obligados a cambiar radicalmente sus hábitos laborales y miles de oficinas y lugares de trabajo quedaron desiertos, dando paso a una implantación masiva del teletrabajo. Las empresas y los empleados que podían hacerlo instauraron el teletrabajo, generando un nuevo escenario que trajo consigo muchas ventajas, pero también algunas dificultades.
Además de la evidente importancia de permanecer en casa para evitar la expansión de la Covid-19, el teletrabajo sirvió para demostrar que el trabajo es posible y para evidenciar las ventajas que supone suprimir miles de desplazamientos diarios, tanto para el bienestar personal como para el medio ambiente.
Sin embargo, a lo largo de este año también se han revelado efectos no deseados del teletrabajo, como pueden ser las dificultades para mantener la motivación de los equipos y los nexos entre personas debido al aislamiento de cada trabajador, la pérdida del aprendizaje colaborativo, la dificultad para desconectar del trabajo, el exceso de sedentarismo, la sobrecarga postural y ocular o la fatiga física y emocional que se va acumulando con el paso de los meses.
En este sentido, los expertos aconsejan mantener una rutina estable que ayude a separar la jornada laboral de la vida privada. En primer lugar, se debe crear un espacio de trabajo específico, cómodo, organizado y bien iluminado. Esto permitirá trabajar sin distracciones y desconectar más fácilmente al terminar la jornada laboral. Otro aspecto importante es establecer rutinas horarias similares a las que se realizaban en el trabajo presencial, programando los descansos necesarios a lo largo del día y la hora de finalización.
En este sentido, el doctor Javier Aranceta, coordinador de Nueva Vida Alimentaria explica que “dentro de esta programación diaria es clave organizar nuestra alimentación, las pausas para comer, hidratarnos y el menú. De esta manera, evitaremos improvisar y que ello nos pueda llevar a una alimentación desequilibrada o no saludable”.
Desde Nueva Vida Alimentaria se ha elaborado un decálogo de hábitos saludables para afrontar el teletrabajo, con el que se puede contribuir a normalizar las jornadas de trabajo en casa mediante una serie de pautas que ayudarán a mejorar los hábitos adquiridos en estos meses y a mejorar el estado anímico y de salud para el futuro. Y no se trata solamente de cuestiones relacionadas con la alimentación, que ha de estar regularizada y con horarios fijos, sino también se incluyen en este documento algunos consejos relativos a la actividad física que conviene realizar y otros aspectos relativos a la ergonomía y al entorno donde se ubique la “nueva oficina”.
Para el doctor Rafael Urrialde, profesor de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, “durante la activad laboral en casa, es imprescindible cambiar de postura y levantarse de la silla cada 45-60 minutos, realizando ejercicios de estiramiento. También intentar mantener reuniones o conexiones telemáticas con los compañeros de trabajo, estar integrado en las relaciones emocionales laborales hace que el estado ánimo se mantenga de una forma más adecuada, tanto el equilibrio físico como emocional es importante mantenerlos durante los periodos de tiempo, más o menos largos, en los que se lleva a cabo la actividad laboral desde el hogar”.
