DES – Digital Enterprise Show 2022 se despide de Málaga hasta el próximo año y clausura su sexta edición con un total de 14.843 asistentes. La capital andaluza se ha convertido estos días en el punto de encuentro mundial para profesionales de todo el mundo que buscan las soluciones más innovadoras con el propósito de digitalizar sus respectivas empresas o administraciones, crear nuevos modelos de negocio y mejorar la experiencia de usuario.
Sandra Infante, directora de DES-Digital Enterprise Show 2022, afirma que: “La ciudad nos ha acogido con los brazos abiertos y DES2022 ha sido todo un éxito. Esta es una muestra de colaboración público-privada para promocionar espacios donde se reúnen grandes corporaciones internacionales con el talento emprendedor y empresas consolidadas nacionales y locales, así como organizaciones o centros de formación. Todo ello para reafirmar Málaga como polo de atracción de inversiones tecnológicas y de investigación”. Infante añade: “esta es solo la primera edición en Andalucía de muchas que están por venir. Seguiremos trabajando junto al Ayuntamiento, la Diputación Provincial de Málaga, y la Junta para que Digital Enterprise Show crezca los próximos años y lo haga aquí”.
Durante la última jornada de DES2022 Reyes Maroto, ministra de Industria, Comercio y Turismo del Gobierno, ha inaugurado el Turism & Hospitality Forum, dedicado a la digitalización y transformación de la industria turística, que actualmente representa el 12,7% del empleo total en España. Durante su intervención ha afirmado que “2022 será el año de la recuperación del turismo, pero tenemos que avanzar hacia un sector de calidad, sostenible, digital e inclusivo. España, como líder, tiene la oportunidad de ser referente de digitalización e innovación turística, y el Gobierno trabaja junto a los destinos para ayudarlos en su digitalización”.
Asimismo, Maroto ha destacado la importancia de la economía de los datos en las empresas de la industria de los viajes para crear “experiencias turísticas que conecten el usuario, el destino y la empresa”. Como ejemplo de caso de transformación digital dentro de la administración, la ministra ha señalado una plataforma de turismo inteligente que ha creado el Gobierno para integrar en una sola base los servicios que entidades públicas y privadas ofrecen a los turistas del destino.
DES2022 ha traído a Málaga a más de 336 firmas expositoras, 600 expertos internacionales, que han analizado cuestiones y desafíos digitales de los sectores de la Banca, Comercio, Marketing, Industria, Mobilidad, Salud o Turismo, y a más de 250 medios de comunicación que han difundido a nivel mundial cómo la digitalización puede devenir la mejor opción para ganar competitividad, efectividad y ahorrar costes.
Sin embargo, lo que ha traído más atención mediática ha sido la presencia de uno de los Keynote Speakers 2022 con los que ha contado DES: el expresidente de los Estados Unidos, Barack Obama. Su sesión consiguió reunir a 1.000 directivos de grandes empresas internacionales que durante una hora escucharon los consejos de primera mano de Obama sobre los retos geopolíticos, económicos y sociales actuales. El expresidente puso de relevo la necesidad de digitalizar los ecosistemas empresariales para dar valor al talento humano, además de apostar por confiar en la tecnología para que reduzca “los trabajos tediosos”.
Junto con el expresidente Obama, la sexta edición de DES ha dado la bienvenida a expertos de distintos sectores como Gunter Pauli, creador del término de ‘Economía Azul’ que ha mostrado como la IA, el Blockchain o el IoT puede ayudar a desarrollar soluciones que, por ejemplo, limpien los mares y océanos de plásticos a nivel de nanopartículas. También, Javier Pardo de Santayana Gómez de Olea, teniente coronel de Estado Mayor responsable de las relaciones bilaterales con países OTAN y Unión Europea; José María Vera Villacián, CEO de UNICEF Spain; Lisa Mae Brunson, gurú de la innovación y fundadora de la Wonder Woman Tech; Raghu Ravinutala, emprendedor que ha llevado su startup a ser un unicornio en Sillicon Valley; o Choy Yon Kong, vicepresidente del Singapore Economic Development Board, han participado en el congreso. En total más de 320 sesiones y debates en las que los asistentes han aprendido las claves para entender los disruptivos conceptos digitales y económicos surgidos en los últimos tiempos.
Por primera vez, DES2022 ha acogido un foro para impulsar el ecosistema emprendedor: The Scale-Up! World Summit. Durante tres días, este espacio, que ha contado con un pabellón exclusivo, ha brindado a más de 2.000 startups internacionales la oportunidad de dar a conocer sus modelos de negocio a miles de empresas y corporaciones reunidas estos días en DES. Las startups finalistas se han subido a un “ring”, un escenario dónde confrontar con posibles inversores sus modelos de negocio, a la vez que han podido ser seleccionadas por cientos de fondos de inversión y “corporate ventures” que han acudido al evento en busca de nuevos proyectos en fase más avanzada en los que invertir. Las finalmente seleccionadas, un total de 19, entrarán en una nueva dimensión que les ofrecerá la oportunidad de “escalar” más rápidamente a nuevos mercados internacionales.
