Daniel Marco, director general de Innovación y Economía Digital de la Generalitat de Catalunya, ha concretado los planes de transformación digital y los proyectos de innovación que tienen en marcha en Cataluña durante el Coloquio “Conociendo a” organizado por la Asociación @aslan.
La Asociación @aslan, que agrupa y representa cerca de 150 empresas tecnológicasy aglutina un amplio ecosistema de innovación, ha invitado a Daniel Marco, director general de Innovación y Economía Digital de la Generalitat de Catalunya al Coloquio “Conociendo a” que ha tenido lugar online con empresas asociadas y al que también ha asistido el presidente de la asociación, Ricardo Maté. Daniel Marco ha destacado la importancia de la innovación en la economía actual y ha detallado la estrategia digital del gobierno catalán.
“Cataluña es actualmente el cuarto start-up hub de Europa, el segundo hub preferido de los emprendedores y Barcelona es la quinta ciudad europea que capta más inversión tecnológica”, ha explicado en su intervención, donde ha desgranado los ámbitos de actuación y los proyectos en los que trabaja la Generalitat.
Un plan con cinco ámbitos de actuación
Las distintas iniciativas tecnológicas pivotan en cinco ejes o ámbitos: ciudadanía digital, territorio conectado, atención a la ciudadanía, ciberseguridad e innovación digital.
En el caso de la ciudadanía digital, “el objetivo es empoderar al ciudadano, que disponga de instrumentos y habilidades porque debe protagonizar esta transformación digital”, señala Daniel Marco. Para ello, han puesto en marcha programas STEAM, de apoyo al emprendimiento femenino en el ámbito TIC o entornos colaborativos con empresas.
En territorio conectado, la meta es impulsar la cohesión del territorio a través de infraestructuras digitales y ciudades inteligentes.
“Hemos desplegado una red de fibra pública propia que llega a todas las capitales de comarca y que en menos de dos años llegará a todos los municipios catalanes. Actualmente, 80 operadores de todos los tamaños ya están dando servicio a través de esta red”.
En infraestructuras digitales destaca la creación de Barcelona Cable Landing Station, puerto de interconexión para la llegada de los cables submarinos internacionales, y en cuanto al desarrollo de las ciudades inteligentes, se ha puesto en marcha una red de soporte a municipios para desplegar servicios Smart y se ha creado laboratorio donde 50 ciudades comparten proyectos de innovación con más de 100 empresas.
En el eje de atención a la ciudadanía, la Generalitat está trabajando en la administración electrónica y el puesto de trabajo, con una finalidad “crear una nueva relación con la ciudadanía, integral, próxima, personalizada y con visión omnicanal”.
Imprescindible es la ciberseguridad, entendida como la protección de la ciudadanía, las empresas y las instituciones. Papel fundamental el de la Agencia de Ciberseguridad de Cataluña, que no solo es “el agente de protección del perímetro de la Generalitat”, sino que “cada vez más, amplía su perímetro a la ciudadanía, las universidades o al entorno local”. Tal y como ha explicado Marco, “se está creando un centro de competencias que conecta la agencia con el sector privado y el industrial”.
El último eje, la innovación digital es competencia directa de la Dirección General de Innovación y Economía Digital. “Implementamos una estrategia integrada, teniendo en cuenta infraestructura, talento, adopción tecnológica, aspectos regulatorios y éticos. Nos basamos en el impacto que pueda tener cada tecnología en la sociedad, pero también en la generación de ecosistemas”, ha comentado Daniel Marco que ha mencionado el Digital Innovation Hub, programa para promover la digitalización de PYMES e instituciones, y la Digital Catalonia Alliance, que aglutinará distintos clústeres especializados en tecnologías disruptivas.
En su intervención, Daniel Marco ha destacado distintos proyectos con 5G, Blockchain, IA y satélites como tecnologías protagonistas. Por un lado, ha señalado la alianza 5G Barcelona, creada para analizar el impacto de esta tecnología en las industrias y promover proyectos de innovación. “Barcelona es el hub europeo de 5G de toda Europa y hemos replicado este ejemplo en toda Cataluña. Tenemos 7 áreas 5G y en cada una un laboratorio con el que realizar proyectos para distintos sectores, como un campus conectado, un laboratorio ferroviario, proyectos de turismo, coche conectado, medios audiovisuales, entre otros”.
Junto a 5G, destacan las iniciativas del Centro Blockchain de Cataluña, en Girona. “El blockchain nos permite dar trazabilidad. Estamos aprendiendo, probando y viendo diferentes tecnologías en distintos proyectos, entre ellos, con la Agencia Catalana de Trasplantes”. En cuanto a inteligencia artificial, se ha creado el CIDAI, centro compartido de innovación, y un observatorio de ética, el EIAC. A raíz de la pandemia, se desarrollaron proyectos para la detección de nuevos brotes, basados en datos de movilidad. Por último, con una cuantía de 18 millones de euros, la Generalitat quiere convertir Cataluña en un polo para la nueva economía del espacio con un plan para lanzar siete nanosatélites, el primero de ellos ya está en órbita desde marzo y estará operativo próximamente.
@aslan impulsa distintas iniciativas específicas con foco en las Administraciones Públicas como estos coloquios exclusivos entre directivos de empresas asociadas con responsables de tecnología e innovación de las AA.PP. La asociación forma parte del Consejo Nacional Consultivo para la Transformación Digital del Ministerio de Asuntos Económicos y Transformación Digital y a través de los Grupos de Expertos y Comisiones de Trabajo apoya los últimos planes de digitalización e innovación puestos en marcha por el Gobierno de España.
