Trabajo remoto, presencial o modelo híbrido, ¿qué es mejor? Esa es la pregunta que se hacen muchas empresas en la actualidad después de un año en el que la forma de relacionarnos, comprar o trabajar ha cambiado radicalmente. Nadie podía imaginar en marzo de 2020 que el teletrabajo se iba a implantar de un día para otro y se convertiría en la forma mayoritaria de funcionar para un gran número de organizaciones.
Pero, ahora surgen más dudas: ¿Qué sucederá en el futuro próximo? ¿Cómo será la forma de trabajar en la postpandemia? ¿De qué manera controlarán los empresarios el teletrabajo y los empleados la gestión del tiempo? En una encuesta que hemos lanzado en LinkedIn, el 73% de los participantes opina que en el futuro imperarán los modelos de trabajo híbridos o flexiworking.
Es evidente que el teletrabajo es una forma de lograr la deseada conciliación de vida familiar y profesional. Sin embargo, se pierden algunos aspectos que la interacción física de los trabajadores aporta: la creatividad colectiva, el trabajo en equipo y, sobre todo, la socialización. No podemos olvidar que somos seres sociales y que necesitamos relacionarnos con otras personas, tanto a nivel personal como laboral.
Por otro lado, la conciliación laboral del teletrabajo, para algunos empleados, queda en entredicho, puesto que en casa se mezclan aspectos laborales con profesionales constantemente y parece que nunca se deja de trabajar. De hecho, un 36% de los profesionales ha trabajado más horas semanales desde que se implantó el teletrabajo, según el informe El futuro del trabajo tras el COVID-19 de Robert Walters.
Por ese motivo, las empresas apuestan actualmente por modelos como el flexiworking, que combinan el trabajo en remoto con la asistencia a la oficina. Para ello, muchas empresas se organizan por turnos o permiten a los empleados que elijan la forma que consideren mejor para sus circunstancias. De esta manera se produce una flexibilización que ayuda a crear un buen clima laboral, atraer y retener talento y contribuir a que se puedan disfrutar las ventajas tanto del trabajo remoto como de la asistencia a la oficina.
Pero ¿qué ocurrirá en el futuro con el teletrabajo? Según un estudio de KMPG, el 77% de los directivos tienen la intención de seguir impulsando herramientas digitales de comunicación para mantener el trabajo en remoto.
Además, tan solo el 7% de los profesionales desea volver a la oficina a tiempo completo tras la pandemia según el informe de Robert Walters anteriormente citado. En este contexto, el modelo híbrido será, probablemente, la solución adecuada.
Según un estudio que hemos realizado en Sage, durante el estado de alarma, solamente un 24% de las pymes pudo recurrir al teletrabajo como principal medida para adaptarse a la situación. Tras la vuelta a la oficina, el 15% afirma que aumentará el teletrabajo en sus organizaciones y, como aprendizaje y adaptación a la nueva situación, el 35 % apostará por la sostenibilidad y la colaboración de sus negocios como piedra angular para afrontar la nueva normalidad.
