Según Okta, el 62% de los encuestados ven el aumento de flexibilidad horaria como un impulsor de la productividad, ayudándolos a mantener el foco durante su jornada laboral; el 55% dijo que el aumento de productividad se derivaba del tiempo libre adicional que les proporcionaba el teletrabajo.
Por otro lado, el 24% de los trabajadores indicaron que sus empresas no les proporcionaban el software apropiado, sobre todo al inicio de la pandemia, lo que afectaba negativamente a sus niveles de producción.
Parece que el trabajo en remoto seguirá presente incluso tras la desaparición del Covid-19 y volver a la oficina sea seguro: tan solo el 24% de trabajadores ingleses quieren volver a su antiguo escritorio y un 35% quiere una modalidad combinada en la que la mayoría de horas se hagan en remoto, pero otras sean presenciales.
Trabajar desde casa hace que nuestras jornadas laborales se alarguen una media de 3h, lo que puede provocar cansancio y estrés por sobrecarga.
Muchos trabajadores no saben cuándo parar y trabajar en la oficina con un horario establecido marcaba los límites de manera tangible, hecho que desde casa no es posible o es más difícil.
Debemos aprender a establecer prioridades y no trabajar más de la cuenta, o el porcentaje de empleados con síndrome de burnout podría subir drásticamente.
A pesar del éxito del teletrabajo, lo cierto es que ir a la oficina también tiene sus ventajas, especialmente las referentes a las relaciones interpersonales.
El 57% de los encuestados europeos echa de menos ver en persona a sus compañeros y charlar con ellos; el 49% extraña las alianzas que se han ido forjando en su trayectoria profesional.
Un estudio de la Universidad de Chicago deja entrever que no todos los países son capaces de movilizar su fuerza de trabajo y solo aquellos con un PIB per cápita alto lo puede hacer de forma óptima: cuanto más baja la economía de un país, menos trabajos con posibilidad de realizarse de forma remota hay.
Esta variabilidad también se aplica entre sectores, siendo los más beneficiados la educación y las profesiones científicas y tecnológicas.
Algunos estudios indican que el hecho de no tener que hacer viajes de casa al trabajo y viceversa o darse prisa en preparar el almuerzo todos los días sin llegar tarde, disminuyen los niveles de estrés, lo que influye positivamente en nuestro bienestar.
Por otro lado, tener la posibilidad de comer en casa platos caseros recién hechos nos ofrece opciones naturales y saludables que contribuyen a mejorar nuestra salud.
Durante la pandemia muchos líderes han aprendido que es posible trabajar con su equipo desde casa, concretamente un 55% de ellos han cambiado su percepción del trabajo en remoto según una encuesta de Gallup.
