La arquitectura tecnológica será, cada vez más, un elemento de supervivencia y diferenciación en un mercado incierto y cambiante. Así lo apunta el informe anual que Accenture realiza con las principales tendencias de TI para el año.
Arquitecturas de TI más sólidas; gemelos digitales, masivos e inteligentes; democratización de la tecnología gracias al auge del procesamiento del lenguaje natural, las plataformas con poco código y la automatización de procesos robóticos; soluciones que permiten trabajar desde cualquier lugar y en cualquier momento y la expansión de los llamados sistemas multilaterales son las grandes tendencias que la consultora Accenture atisba para este año 2021 en su informe anual Technology Vision, en el que señala qué tecnologías emergentes tienen el mayor potencial para impactar en los negocios y los sectores industriales.
Los expertos de la compañía aseveran que se vislumbra una nueva era para la competencia, una época en la que las empresas lucharán en el mercado según su arquitectura de sistemas IT. Pero, advierten desde la consultora, “construir y manejar la tecnología más competitiva significa pensar en la tecnología de manera diferente, haciendo que las estrategias de negocio y tecnológicas sean indistinguibles”. Según el citado informe, el 89% de los ejecutivos cree que la capacidad de su organización para generar valor empresarial se basará cada vez más en las limitaciones y oportunidades de su arquitectura tecnológica.
Otra de las tendencias que observa el equipo de Accenture es la creación de gemelos digitales inteligentes de forma masiva para generar modelos vivos y completos de fábricas, cadenas de suministro, ciclos de vida de productos, etc. “Aunar datos e inteligencia para representar el mundo físico en un espacio digital desbloqueará nuevas oportunidades para operar, colaborar e innovar”, reza el estudio. Para el 65% de los ejecutivos encuestados para la elaboración de este, la inversión de su organización en gemelos digitales inteligentes aumentará en los próximos tres años.
La expansión del procesamiento del lenguaje natural, las plataformas con poco código (low-code) y la automatización de procesos robóticos, entre otras soluciones, están democratizando la tecnología de forma que ahora todos los empleados podrán ser innovadores. El 88% de los ejecutivos cree que esta tendencia se está convirtiendo en un factor fundamental en su capacidad para impulsar la innovación en su organización.
El teletrabajo que ha impulsado la pandemia ha llegado para quedarse. En realidad, el concepto va más allá de trabajar desde casa. Supone que los empleados puedan llevar todo su entorno consigo (bring your own environment, en inglés) para acceder a las herramientas de trabajo y ser productivos desde donde quieran. El 81% de los ejecutivos consultados cree que sus empresas cambiarán del enfoque “trae tu dispositivo” a “trae tu propio entorno”.
Finalmente, la llegada de un sistema multilateral a través del caos, con la demanda repentina de rastreo de contactos, pagos sin contacto y nuevas formas de generar confianza, es la última gran tendencia que indica la compañía de TI. Los sistemas multilaterales, explica el informe, pueden ayudar a las empresas a obtener una mayor resistencia y adaptabilidad, a desbloquear nuevas formas de acercarse al mercado y a establecer nuevos estándares de avance del ecosistema para sus sectores. Así lo cree el 90% de los ejecutivos encuestados.
“Dar prioridad a la innovación tecnológica en respuesta a un mundo que cambia rápidamente es más importante que nunca”, concluye el informe, poniendo como ejemplo la transformación a la que se está enfrentando el sector de la restauración, muchas de cuyas empresas se están apoyando en las posibilidades que ofrecen las TI para personalizar su oferta y sobrevivir.
