Se trata de una serie de innovaciones que Syntonize está observando que serán fundamentales en los desarrollos de negocio durante el próximo año.
La consultora de desarrollo digital española Syntonize ha recopilado las diez tecnologías que centrarán el debate de la innovación a lo largo del año que viene. “Se trata de una serie de innovaciones que estamos observando que serán fundamentales en los desarrollos de negocio durante el próximo año, pero la realidad es que la tecnología va tan rápido que es probable que surjan innovaciones que ni siquiera conocemos ahora mismo”, apunta Juan Quintanilla, CEO de Syntonize. “IoT, AR, Cloud o incluso Edge Computing son cosas del pasado y aunque la mayoría de los proyectos se basarán en estas tecnologías, es importante saber hacia dónde va el mercado antes de emprender cualquier plan”.
1. 5G. Llevamos todo 2019 esperando el despliegue de esta tecnología que llegará a todo el mundo el próximo año. Son muchas las empresas, como Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia, Verizon, AT&Y o Qualcomm, que están desarrollando e incluyendo la tecnología 5G en sus dispositivos. Incluso Android está realizando lanzamientos de smartphones con 5G. Pero con el 5G no solamente nos referimos a una mayor velocidad en los teléfonos. Gran parte de las empresas de las que dependemos diariamente evolucionarán con el 5G para ofrecer nuevos servicios y también veremos avances en el desarrollo de ciudades inteligentes, vehículos inteligentes y numerosas tecnologías intensivas en IoT.
2. WiFi 6. Pese a que el 5G y el WiFi 6 son tecnologías distintas, juntas formarán la combinación perfecta de conexión ultrarrápida. Con WiFi 6, la velocidad de descarga será hasta tres veces más rápida que ahora, pero lo más importante será la posibilidad de expandir con mayor rapidez velocidades de datos a más dispositivos, debido, por un lado, a la previsión de un aumento de 10 a 50 dispositivos conectados mediante WiFi en los próximos años; y, por otra, a la mejora en la calidad y velocidad de datos consumidos para, por ejemplo, ver vídeos en streaming en alta resolución.
3. Analítica avanzada de datos. Las compañías que invierten en analítica se benefician inmensamente de la información que obtienen de sus clientes. Los datos que maneja cada empresa son muy numerosos, pero es necesario tener la capacidad de recopilarlos, procesarlos y convertirlos en información valiosa en tiempo real para elegir bien las estrategias que se deben seguir mediante la toma de decisiones informadas e inteligentes. Con la analítica avanzada, cualquier organización podrá disfrutar de un conocimiento más profundo de las necesidades de sus clientes para realizar ofertas hiperpersonalizadas, por ejemplo.
4. Inteligencia Artificial y Machine Learning. El aprendizaje automático con el que poder estudiar y detallar la gran cantidad de datos que obtendremos y hacer un buen uso de ello será fundamental y se convertirá en un multiplicador del análisis de datos. La utilidad de la Inteligencia Artificial y el Machine Learning se verá reflejada en tres aspectos: velocidad, escala y conveniencia: se podrán analizar conjuntamente numerosos datos sin incurrir en errores humanos y, además, se crearán herramientas analíticas intuitivas, fáciles de utilizar y confiables.
5. Blockchain. El Blockchain superará el uso casi exclusivo que se le otorga ahora mismo –relacionado con las criptodivisas- y lo veremos aplicado a propiedad intelectual, seguridad alimentaria o administración de bienes. Amazon, por ejemplo, con su plataforma basada en suscripciones blockchain-as-a-service ya está apostando por esta tecnología, de la misma manera que Samsung, Microsoft, IBM o Alibaba.
6. Inteligencia Artificial Conversacional. Herramientas como Microsoft Conversational AI permiten escuchar correctamente y seguir conversaciones complejas e, incluso, entender emociones. Además, el avance en chips y SOC para dispositivos inteligentes posibilitará la mejora en el aislamiento de las voces de fondos con ruido.
7. ACPC. Se espera una mejora en el rendimiento de los ordenadores portátiles para conseguir que realmente se conviertan en Always-Connected-PCs (ACPC). Permanecemos conectados permanentemente y la necesidad de que los ordenadores también lo hagan es indudable; por eso, el desarrollo de los ACPC tiene como objetivo poder utilizar la batería durante todo el día sin depender de cables o conexiones eléctricas.
8. Drones autónomos, vehículos autónomos y Smart Cities. Con la ayuda del 5G y el Edge Computing el progreso que se espera en los coches, drones y ciudades inteligentes es significativo. Tesla, Nvidia, Intel, Qualcomm, BMW, Volvo y Ford son tan sólo algunas de las empresas que están trabajando en este tipo de tecnologías. Además, Uber está levantando su propia flota y Amazon explora la idea de enviar los productos a sus usuarios a través de un dron autónomo. Estas tecnologías plantean un sistema de transporte interconectado, ágil y dinámico que puede aportar numerosos beneficios no solo sociales sino medioambientales también.
9. RPA. La automatización robótica de procesos (RPA) se basa en la Inteligencia Artificial y está permitiendo agilizar procesos complejos ahorrando costes a muchas empresas, como, por ejemplo, la actualización de manera periódica cuando sea necesaria de los datos procedentes desde otras fuentes.
10. XaaS, UX / CX y privacidad. Las grandes transformaciones tecnológicas de las que hemos hablado no podrían realizarse sin las herramientas adecuadas. Por lo que es importante hacer hincapié en la importancia que hay detrás de estas tecnologías, es decir, en las herramientas que hacen esto posible. Por ello, se hablará de XaaS (todo como servicio), UX / CX (experiencia de usuario o de cliente) y de la privacidad digital más que nunca.
