Los sectores de Finanzas, Seguros, Inmobiliaria y Servicios Empresariales son aquellos que han reaccionado de forma más ágil y se han adaptado al proceso de digitalización.
La pandemia del Covid-19 ha obligado a las empresas a reinventarse y adaptarse, dejando una gran reflexión sobre la transformación digital. Según el estudio “Skills Revolution Reboot”, en el que participaron 26.150 directivos de empresas de 43 países, las empresas que más han avanzado en su transformación digital en los últimos meses son también las que más capacidad han tenido de preservar o, incluso, crear empleo en todo el mundo. Según los datos extraídos por ManpowerGroup, nada menos que un 38% de las compañías han apostado por acelerar su digitalización como respuesta a la pandemia del Covid-19. Esta digitalización crea nuevas oportunidades de empleo, pero también impulsa un cambio radical en la vida de las personas -cada vez más conectadas-.
Si analizamos los datos extraídos, podemos observar cómo las organizaciones de mayor tamaño han apostado más por la digitalización en estos últimos meses, lo que supone, haber generado más empleo. Por el contrario, las más pequeñas han sufrido más las consecuencias negativas de la pandemia y la crisis económica, con lo que también han puesto en pausa sus planes de digitalización y de contratación.
Cuatro de cada diez organizaciones analizadas en este estudioaseguraron que la pandemia no había tenido ningún impacto en sus planes de digitalización o automatización. Estas empresas tenían en común la ubicación geográfica y la reticencia a acelerar su transformación tecnológica. Se puede observar esta apreciaciónen países europeos como España, Portugal y Reino Unido; ytambién en países como China, Singapur e India.
Lo que es evidente es que, a medida que llegan nuevos players al mercado, -cada uno de ellos más innovador y avanzado en el uso de herramientas digitales que el anterior-, las organizaciones tradicionales tienen la obligación de actualizar su forma de hacer negocios o crear nuevos negocios.
Por tanto, en la primavera de 2020, mientras el 93% de la población mundial debía adaptarse a una nueva forma de vivir, trabajar y hasta de hacer las compras, empresas de todo el planeta abordaban su transformación digital a ritmos diferentes. Por poner un ejemplo, en empresas manufactureras, de la construcción o del comercio hubo quien eligió adaptarse rápidamente a las circunstancias impulsando la digitalización y hubo quien paralizó sus planes a la espera de que la situación se clarificase.
Sin embargo, sectores como Finanzas, Seguros, Inmobiliaria y Servicios Empresariales, son aquellos que antes de la pandemia habían iniciado un proceso lento de digitalización y ahora son los que más rápido han reaccionado y se han adaptado. Finalmente, como es de imaginar, los sectores considerados esenciales, como Tecnología, Sanidad, Logística y Alimentación, no han dejado de crecer.
Este escenario refleja que la brecha que separaba el mundo digital del analógico ha aumentado todavía más desde la pandemia deCovid-19 y que aquellas organizaciones y profesionales que han sabido adaptarse, han logrado salir con más facilidad adelante en esta crisis mundial.
