Para muchas empresas, la pandemia de la Covid-19 ha sido sinónimo de teletrabajo. En España, esta práctica ha crecido un 74% en el último año, alcanzando casi 3 millones de empleados, según indica Adecco Group. Sin embargo, el trabajo remoto todavía es una opción minoritaria si se comparan las cifras de España con las de otros países de la Unión Europea. Un 14,7% de los españoles ocupados teletrabaja, lejos de la media europea de 21,5%, o del porcentaje que presentan Suecia (40,9%) u Holanda (40,1%), que encabezan la lista, o Portugal (20,7%) y Francia (28,3%)
Hay un factor clave que puede explicar la reticencia de muchas empresas hacia el teletrabajo: su poca preparación en el ámbito de la seguridad informática. Las organizaciones tienen sus razones para desconfiar, con más de 218.000 ciberataques registrados en España por el Centro de Ciberseguridad Nacional en 2020. Estos se han centrado en algunas de las grandes corporaciones del país, aunque un 70% los han sufrido las pequeñas y medianas empresas, tal y como se destaca en el informe “Ciberamenazas y tendencias 2020”.
Disponer de una solución holística que aporte seguridad a la empresa y, al mismo tiempo, permita a los empleados trabajar de forma remota y eficiente es clave para asegurar el presente y el futuro de la compañía. El teletrabajo ha llegado para quedarse, ya que facilita la conciliación laboral y proporciona atractivo y alternativas a las compañías. Realizar copias de seguridad de los archivos y datos de la empresa es tan o más importante que disponer de un buen sistema de ciberseguridad. La creación periódica de copias de seguridad permitirá a las empresas luchar contra ataques con ransomware, puesto que el hecho de disponer de una o varias versiones actualizadas de los datos evita que estos queden secuestrados a través de encriptación, como suele suceder en estos casos.
La estrategia “3 – 2 – 1” en cuanto a la creación de copias de seguridad permitirá a las empresas asegurar la protección total de su sistema. Esta se basa en la creación de 3 copias de seguridad en 2 soportes distintos, uno de los cuales está situado en un espacio físico externo. Las dos copias principales se pueden realizar en los propios archivos de la empresa, mientras que la copia externa se puede subir a la nube con tal de que sea más segura. Además, se trata de una estrategia escalable que las empresas pueden ampliar con el objetivo de mejorar todavía más su seguridad.
Los expertos de Synology recomiendan la estrategia “3 – 2 – 1” para empresas de cualquier tamaño y buscan facilitar su implantación a través de distintas soluciones de creación de copias de seguridad integradas en el sistema operativo DiskStation Manager de los dispositivos Synology NAS. Synology Hyper Backup permite almacenar copias automáticamente en una gran variedad de destinos, desde discos duros externos hasta servicios en la nube publica. También es importante hacer copias de las herramientas online y colaborativas SaaS, como Microsoft 365 y G Suite. Synology Active Backup crea versiones de seguridad de estos archivos automáticamente para evitar pérdidas de información.
Además, las empresas podrán realizar una copia de seguridad externa de sus archivos gracias a Synology C2, la solución de nube pública de la compañía, que permite también la creación de un almacenamiento en nube híbrida mediante Synology Hybrid Share. Esto combina lo mejor de la nube privada en cuanto a rendimiento y protección, y de la nube publica, que ofrece disponibilidad de los datos y incremento del almacenamiento.
Mantener la conexión, interacción y dinámicas internas de los equipos permite a las empresas seguir adelante durante los periodos de teletrabajo forzoso, pero también aportar flexibilidad en cuanto a la prespecialidad de los trabajadores. Disponer de herramientas de uso diario, como pueden ser editores de texto, canales de comunicación o soluciones organizativas, especialmente para el trabajo en remoto en línea proporciona seguridad y protección a los archivos empresariales.
