Un nuevo estudio de TomTom Telematics revela que las empresas españolas adoptan tecnología disruptiva para mejorar la productividad y reclutar, motivar y retener a sus empleados, pero les cuesta implementar dicha tecnología debido a su alto coste y a la falta de información que ofrecen los proveedores.
TomTom Telematics, proveedor de servicios de gestión de flotas y coches conectados, ha realizado un estudio en el que ha preguntado a 1.400 directivos europeos sobre su actitud hacia las nuevas tecnologías. El informe desvela que casi la totalidad de las empresas españolas (95%) cree que la tecnología es importante para reclutar, motivar y retener a los empleados. Al mismo tiempo, incrementar la productividad (34%), mejorar el servicio al cliente (25%), aumentar las ventas (10%) y reducir los costes del negocio (8%) son los factores de motivación más comunes a la hora de adoptar nueva tecnología.
Sin embargo, prácticamente tres cuartas partes de las empresas (74%) cree que hay una falta de información fiable para quienes buscan introducir nuevos sistemas tecnológicos. De hecho, el 32% de los encuestados cita la falta de información de los proveedores como uno de los mayores retos a la hora de adoptar nuevas tecnologías.
El mayor problema a la hora de implantar dichos sistemas es el coste, como lo atestigua el 54% de las empresas encuestadas. Esto es algo que contrasta con los resultados de otros países europeos, como Reino Unido, para los que el coste no es un factor tan relevante. Otras causas de desmotivación en España son la falta de experiencia dentro de la organización (33%) y la imposibilidad de encontrar un proveedor que se ajuste a la empresa (27%).

Nos cuentan cómo la tecnología genera un volumen ingente de datos, y cómo hacen falta herramientas que puedan interpretar y dar sentido a esos datos, con el objetivo de poder tomar decisiones inteligentes, que no solamente les ayuden a mejorar sus resultados, sino a potenciar y transformar sus negocios. Esta encuesta reafirma lo que intuíamos tras estas conversaciones y muestra de forma clara el panorama de adopción de tecnología en las empresas españolas”.
Pese a todos los problemas, en España somos optimistas y un 82% de las empresas se considera a sí misma early adopter de nuevas soluciones tecnológicas. Además, casi la mitad (42%) de los encuestados dice usar sistemas más avanzados en su casa que en la oficina.
A la hora de elegir un proveedor, la investigación descubrió que el soporte técnico (47%) y que las soluciones estén diseñadas a prueba de futuro (45%) son las dos consideraciones claves, seguidas por la reputación del proveedor (39%) y la usabilidad (36%).
