Solo el 25% de las empresas en España gozan de una salud digital sólida, mientras que un 47% se mantiene en un nivel medio y un 28% la clasifica como deficiente, según un estudio sobre salud digital realizado en Europa por Zoho, donde se categoriza a las empresas participantes según sus prácticas de digitalización.
En España, las empresas grandes y medianas tienden a destacar en salud digital, con un 30% de ellas obteniendo una calificación positiva. Sin embargo, solo el 14% de las empresas pequeñas en el país alcanzan esta evaluación favorable. Comparativamente, las empresas encuestadas en el Reino Unido, Países Bajos y Francia muestran una salud digital inferior a la de España, con índices de buena salud digital del 19%, 18% y 17%, respectivamente.
«Está claro que España tiene mucho que avanzar en términos de digitalización empresarial. Los beneficios se entienden claramente, pero tiene que haber mucha más educación y formación por parte de las empresas y de los proveedores que ofrecen soluciones digitales, ayudando a las organizaciones a superar los retos y aprovechar todo el potencial de su inversión en digitalización», comenta Sridhar Iyengar, Director General de Zoho Europe.
Un 32% de las empresas entrevistadas en España indica que más del 50% de sus operaciones son gestionadas a través de herramientas digitales. En contraste, el 31% utiliza estas herramientas para la mayoría de sus actividades, mientras que el 20% afirma que menos del 50% de su negocio se gestiona digitalmente.
En cuanto a la adopción de tecnologías en la nube, el 54% de los líderes en transformación digital en España utiliza de 2 a 3 plataformas en la nube, otro 54% utiliza de 1 a 5 aplicaciones, y un 28% utiliza de 6 a 10 aplicaciones. Solo el 5% no utiliza ninguna plataforma en la nube, al igual que el 5% que no utiliza ninguna aplicación en la nube.
En términos de desafíos, el 90% de las empresas encuestadas en España ha enfrentado problemas en su proceso de transformación digital. Los problemas más comunes incluyen la necesidad de buscar ayuda o recursos externos para mejorar el rendimiento de las herramientas digitales (49%), seguido por la falta de beneficios prometidos por los proveedores de estas herramientas (26%) y la adopción por parte de todos los empleados (25%).
Los líderes de transformación digital encuestados en España identifican los beneficios más frecuentes de la transformación digital como mejoras en la experiencia del cliente (41%), eficiencia (41%), automatización (32%) y ventaja competitiva/diferenciación (32%). Estos aspectos son considerados cruciales para la competitividad y el éxito empresarial en la actualidad.
Al evaluar las posibles aplicaciones de software en la nube, el 48% de las empresas consideran la facilidad de integración de estas herramientas con el resto de sus aplicaciones digitales como uno de los criterios más importantes. A este criterio le siguen la capacidad de mejorar el servicio al cliente (33%) y la alineación con la estrategia y la infraestructura digital global de la empresa (33%).
Las empresas en España que gozan de una salud digital sólida son las más inclinadas a ver la inteligencia artificial (IA) como una parte esencial de su operación, ya experimentando beneficios tangibles (42%). Esta percepción es compartida por poco más de una quinta parte (22%) de las empresas con una salud digital promedio y apenas el 7% de aquellas con una salud digital deficiente.
De hecho, alrededor del 42% de las empresas con una salud digital robusta consideran que la IA jugará un papel crucial en sus operaciones y tienen planes de realizar importantes inversiones en esta tecnología.
