Sostenibilidad y datos oscuros
En 2020, es probable que veamos la sostenibilidad en la creación de redes y en el resurgimiento de los centros de datos como un problema. Las TIC producen tantas emisiones de carbono como la industria aeronáutica. Sin embargo, la nube es tres veces más eficiente que el almacenamiento local, cuando se trata de sostenibilidad. Por lo tanto, las organizaciones se verán sometidas a una presión cada vez mayor para gestionar sus datos de forma eficaz. Esto implicará la gestión de lo que reside en la nube, lo que permanece en las instalaciones y, lo que es más importante, lo que se puede eliminar de forma permanente.
