El estudio, se ha realizado a través de 2.650 empresas TI encuestadas. Con el objetivo de destacar como se comportan las compañías y sus intenciones de acoger totalmente el modelo de cloud híbrida y los planes de despliegue.
“Aunque las empresas invierten considerablemente en centros de datos tradicionales, España planea migrar de forma acelerada a la nube híbrida”, comentan desde Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Index.
Principales resultados
En España, las empresas planean adoptar completamente el modelo de nube híbrida.
Para alcanzar un modelo totalmente híbrido, las compañías españolas están tomando un enfoque de “la nube privada primero” para la adopción de la cloud.
En España, las empresas dependen significativamente menos de la nube pública que sus equivalentes en EMEA y en el resto del mundo.
Las compañías, ponen más énfasis en la agilidad tecnológica, las mejoras en el redimiendo y el tiempo de actividad y la continuidad del negocio.
La transformación digital, como prioridad empresarial, ocupa una posición más baja en España que en cualquier otra región.
Confianza en la nube híbrida
El estudio ha dado a conocer las expectativas que tienen las empresas, en cuanto a la migración a las arquitecturas de nube híbrida durante los próximos cinco años. Y es que, pueden llegar a pasar de un 9% al 61%.
En España, las compañías consideraron la nube híbrida como el modelo de TI más seguro el 33% de las veces, más que el resto de las infraestructuras. También consideran la nube privada alojada/gestionada como significativamente más segura, seleccionando esta opción el 26% de las veces, o aproximadamente de un 10% a 13% más que la media global y de EMEA. Sólo Francia situó esta opción en la posición más alta, con un 27%.
Las empresas españolas quieren invertir en esta nube híbrida
España ya ha invertido en la nube privada durante este año, y planea continuar con esta nivel de despliegue junto con una inversión sustancial de la nube pública.
En los próximos 25 años, las empresas se centrarán en migrar a entornos multicloud y de nube híbrida, con despliegues de nube híbrida que alcanzarán el 61%, totalmente lo contrario de lo que está pasando con los niveles de despliegue de los centros de datos tradicionales en 2019.
Atributos de Infraestructura TI más valoradas
Las decisiones relacionadas con la infraestructura TI de las empresas están estrechamente ligadas a las capacidades y atributos que ofrecen las diferentes alternativas de nube y centro de datos y como éstas se adaptan a lo que las compañías valoran más como negocio.
Y es que, la mayoría de los encuestados del ECI han considerado constantemente las ventajas en términos de costes, la seguridad de los datos y el cumplimiento normativo como principales prioridades.
Por otro lado, en España se ha considerado mucho más importante la capacidad de acelerar los despliegues TI (62%), la mejora de las experiencias de usuario con un mejor rendimiento y tiempo de actividad (48%), la recuperación tras desastres/continuidad del negocio (48%) y la escalabilidad (47%) a la hora de decidir desplegar un entorno cloud.
Principales conclusiones
Los participantes españoles del informe Enterprise Cloud Index 2019 de Nutanix generalmente siguen la tendencia global y regional de migrar de centros de datos tradicionales no habilitados para la nube a un modelo cloud principalmente híbrido.
Sin embargo, sus técnicas y planteamientos de migración difieren sutilmente en algunos aspectos. Mientras que la confianza de las empresas españolas en los centros de datos tradicionales es ligeramente superior a la media de EMEA y global.
Pues, están tomando un fuerte enfoque hacia dicha migración, con planes de reducir los despliegues de centros de datos tradicionales del 60% al 8% en los próximos cinco años.
