Un área que parece estar en el foco de cualquier debate en materia laboral, pero que sigue sin terminar de despegar en nuestro país.
Modis, nueva división del Grupo Adecco dedicada a dar servicios de valor añadido en los sectores de IT, Engineering y Life Science, ha presentado la ‘Encuesta Modis sobre Empleo en el sector TIC’, la cual ha sido realizada entre 3.100 profesionales residentes en España de entre 18 y 65 años de edad.
Dicho análisis pone de manifiesto la importancia que los profesionales de este ámbito dan a su sector de cara al futuro. 8 de cada 10 consideran que las TIC son las principales causantes de la transformación que atraviesa el mundo laboral.
«La aplicación de la tecnología es algo que forma parte de nuestra vida personal y profesional. Afecta a los procesos empresariales pero también a cómo interactuamos con otras personas, o hasta cómo nos divertimos. Esto lleva implícito que las habilidades tecnológicas serán un requisito para todos los puestos de trabajo en el futuro en mayor o menor medida. Todo esto permitirá, además, una democratización del acceso a los bienes y servicios y a hacer aún más latente el mercado global para las empresas y consumidores” explica Jorge González, director de Modis IT & Engineering.
El 93,1% de los encuestados considera que las TIC englobarán los principales trabajos del futuro, aunque más de la mitad de ellos (55,2%) opina que la formación existente en estas materias no asegura un buen futuro laboral mostrando una vez más el gap que existe entre formación y mercado de trabajo.
Otro dato relevante que queda latente en este estudio es que casi la mitad de los profesionales del sector afirma que su remuneración es superior a la de cualquier otro sector, no obstante, pese a ello también consideran que dicha remuneración es inferior a la del resto de países y que las condiciones laborales son mejores en el extranjero que en España.
En cuanto a los puestos más demandados dentro del universo TIC, el 48,6% se lo llevan los analistas y programadores informáticos los que más fácil tienen encontrar empleo, seguidos de los especialistas en ciberseguridad (20,1%), los de Big Data (18,9%) y los consultores (6,1%).
A estos profesionales se les exige una experiencia media de 2 a 5 años aunque también hay quienes creen que las empresas buscan gente con una trayectoria de 5 a 10 años (27,6%) y solo un 11,2% opina que las vacantes disponibles buscan jóvenes para su primer empleo.
Según un 75% de los encuestados, España no es uno de los países de Europa con mayor proporción de empresas especializadas en TIC. Además, el 86,4% de los consultados cree que las condiciones laborales en este sector son mejores en el extranjero que en nuestro país. Dos factores que pueden estar detrás de la rotación, expatriación y movilidad internacional de estos profesionales.
