La administración y las empresas ya están entendiendo que los diferentes elementos que afectan a los flujos de trabajo (personal, sistemas IT, bots, inteligencia artificial (AI) y la regulación) han de ser integrados en procesos automáticos de principio a fin en una sola plataforma para eliminar el trabajo repetitivo y aumentar la eficiencia.
Appian revela las cinco tendencias que cualquier tipo de organización debe tener en cuenta para diferenciarse en el futuro próximo:
1. Desarrollo del low-code y eficiencia: Una investigación llevada a cabo por Appian reveló que el 85% de los profesionales TI creen que tecnologías como el low-code, la inteligencia artificial (IA) y el machine learning serán clave para abordar los retos empresariales a los que se enfrentan los departamentos de TI, al tiempo que ayudan a las organizaciones a adaptarse al cambio y agilizan el trabajo.
2. Desarrollo de aplicaciones 10 veces más rápido: En el mercado del low-code actual se está dando una evolución muy rápida. Un estudio de The Wall Street Journal ya identificó que el low-code se estaba convirtiendo en una herramienta prioritaria para las empresas en 2019, lo cual se disparó en 2020 cuando estas necesitaron adaptarse rápidamente a las circunstancias sanitarias. De hecho, según Forrester, el 75% de las empresas que crean aplicaciones web, móviles o infraestructura, utilizaban plataformas de low-code a finales de 2021.

Finanzas y otros sectores Regulados: Con las economías en recesión, es habitual que aumente el escrutinio sobre los controles de procesos y una mayor aplicación regulatoria por parte de los gobiernos. En 2023, las empresas se enfrentarán a muchos desafíos relacionados con la transparencia financiera, la visibilidad de los sistemas en las cadenas de suministro y la supervisión de las políticas medioambientales. Para cumplir con estos requerimientos, sectores altamente regulados como el financiero o el de seguros tendrán que garantizar el control de procesos de principio a fin.
4. Sector público: Desde que Appian aterrizó en España en 2017, el low-code ha penetrado en diversas industrias, facilitando la transformación digital no solo de grandes empresas, sino muy especialmente de organismos públicos. El low-code es como un lienzo en blanco absolutamente transversal que se adapta perfectamente a organismos tradicionalmente opacos y saturados de información desconectada como puede suceder en el sector público.
5. Brecha de habilidades TI: Los líderes de los países se han dado cuenta que la diferenciación de sus compañías y administraciones vendrá a través de la excelencia tecnológica. De hecho, el Gobierno de España se ha fijado como meta incrementar en 20.000 el número de especialistas en datos, Inteligencia Artificial y ciberseguridad para 2025. Actualmente, no hay suficientes profesionales formados para atender las demandas del mercado laboral.
