Las organizaciones dependen cada vez más de los datos para tomar sus decisiones. Así lo demuestran cifras como las que aporta la consultora Forrester: en 2020, la madurez de los datos empresariales aumentó un 12% con respecto al año anterior. Durante el 2021 esta tendencia se ha mantenido al alza, con una mayor demanda de herramientas de integración para que la información sea más accesible y manejable sin importar su formato u origen de procedencia. Denodo considera que esta búsqueda de la integración de datos estará aún más potenciada en los próximos meses, con el fin de mejorar los procesos de negocio y la toma de decisiones.
1 – El Data Fabric se consolida como base para empresas bien distribuidas: con el auge del eCommerce y el teletrabajo por la pandemia, se ha generado un ecosistema más complejo de dispositivos, aplicaciones e infraestructura, sin una solución única que integre todos los datos que aporta cada uno. En 2022, el Data Fabric estará más extendido como modelo de integración con el que pueden mejorar sus análisis y automatizar muchas de las tareas de integración, preparación y exploración de datos. Estos data fabrics reducirán además sus tiempos de entrega y por eso, será el enfoque de gestión de datos preferido durante el próximo año.
2 – La inteligencia de datos se abre paso para ayudar en la toma de decisiones: las herramientas de inteligencia en la toma de decisiones se están abriendo paso en las empresas, con las plataformas de Business Intelligence habituales complementándose con sistemas de apoyo basados en Inteligencia Artificial y Machine Learning. Gracias a ello, pueden hacer predicciones de los resultados de un determinado conjunto de acciones y decidir sobre las acciones más adecuadas en función de estos. En 2022, la inteligencia de decisiones tendrá la capacidad de hacer mejores análisis y evaluaciones de manera más rápida.
3 – Las arquitecturas Data Mesh se vuelven más atractivas: conforme las organizaciones crecen en tamaño y complejidad, aquellas que gestionan los datos de manera centralizada deben interactuar con una amplia gama de unidades y usuarios. El hándicap es que esto dificulta la comprensión de las necesidades de datos de cada departamento, de la información interdepartamental y de aquella que debe ser la más adecuada para dar servicio a sus clientes. Data Mesh es un nuevo enfoque de arquitectura de datos descentralizada para el análisis de datos que pretende eliminar esos “cuellos de botella” y acerca la toma de decisiones a quienes realmente comprenden los datos en cada área. A partir de 2022, las compañías más grandes con entornos de datos distribuidos implementarán cada vez más una arquitectura Data Mesh que mediante el uso de una infraestructura unificada, permitirá a cada departamento trabajar con sus datos más adecuados al mismo tiempo que mantienen unas normas comunes de interoperabilidad, calidad, gobernanza y seguridad.
4 – Las organizaciones adoptan los datos componibles: Las arquitecturas monolíticas son ya cosa del pasado, pero se espera que su presencia sea aún más pequeña. Como las empresas multinacionales manejan datos distribuidos a través de las fronteras regionales, en la nube y provenientes de centros de datos, consolidar esos datos en una ubicación central es prácticamente imposible. Es ahí donde entra la arquitectura de datos componible gracias a la cual pueden elegir ciertas herramientas para construir partes o toda su infraestructura de datos. En 2022, se espera que aceleren la creación de sus entornos de datos y de análisis integrado, así podrán obtener más flexibilidad a la hora de crear una infraestructura de datos que satisfaga sus necesidades.
5 – El análisis de datos a pequeña y gran escala se pone de moda: La Inteligencia Artificial/Machine Learning está transformando la forma de operar de las organizaciones, pero para tener éxito, también dependen del análisis de sus datos históricos, también conocida como análisis de Big Data. Pero en 2022, también la combinarán con el análisis de datos a pequeña escala con el que podrán crear experiencias mucho más personalizadas para sus clientes. Esta combinación de análisis a pequeña y gran escala ganará una mayor tracción a lo largo del año.
